Csillaghegyi beach Budapest

Csillaghegyi beach Budapest
The Csillaghegyi beach situated almost outside of Budapest at North Buda in very nice natural surrounding. Here seems like the time has stopped. The beach perhaps preferred for those who wants peace, and not many kids around. The beach one of the cheapest in Budapest, and has huge area, but not many pools.

The two bigger pools are situated at the shade of the surrounding pine trees. The pools water temperature is normal temperature, not too cold,  not warm, both can be used for swimming. The beach has at least three ground levels as the area a little bit sloping, at the second level the children’s pool can be found. I bet that 70% of people who live in Budapest doesn’t really know that this beach exists.

There are plenty of place to have a rest, or read a book, at several levels.

What is interesting about this beach that it looks like a camp in the 70’s or the 80’s. It is very interesting for those people who lived at that time. The small wooden houses in the upper green area looks like a witness of the past. The drawback of this beach that it is quite far to the city center, and the services are not up to many other alternatives for example the Romai beach, the Punkosdfurdo beach in this region or the most popular Palatinus in the Margaret island.

Like the Romai beach no warm water pool here. There are catering services as well, but not up to the bigger beaches in Budapest, which means all the other beaches.

But this beach is a unique one, a real curiosity.
