Ice skating is quite popular in Budapest. Below can be find the list of places where is possible to practice ice skating. Usually renting skate possible everywhere for approximately 1000 HUF, some places renting the ring and playing ice hockey is also possible. Some of the places mostly used for training and available in weekends.

See the picture below. The great outside ice skating ring with music is a fantastic program. Possible to rent skates here, the price depending on the duration of the rent. The building and the facilites has currently been renovated, and the building regain their 19th century look, and now the ice ring surface is 15,000 m2. The ice skating ring gave home for the 2012 European Allround Speed Skating Championships.

In Marczibanyi sportcentrum a 722 m2 ice is available in winter times. Sometimes the ice is occupied and closed for the public as it is a possibility to rent it. There are a possibility to play other sports as well: tennis, soccer, ice-hockey.
